Matheus Bento

Matheus is originally from Brazil, where he went to Veterinary School and learned a lot things that would help him in his future as a trainer. He moved to US in 2018 to do his vet internship and later on he decided to stop his career and become a horse trainer. With the knowledge acquired at the Veterinary school, with a large numbers of clinics attended and traveling all over the world learning from the best horsemen and women, he got to develop a very unique way to train, teach and read horses. Matheus is responsible for starting and training the reining cow horses and rope horses. In only two years as professional trainer, Matheus has won numerous events and is the first Brazilian ever to win the World Show in the Open Working Cow Horse!

McKenna Bento

Trainer

McKenna grew up on the back of a horse. She started riding western pleasure and showing showmanship. When she was 10 she started riding her moms barrel horse and from there her passion for barrel racing grew. After graduating high school, she knew that she didn't want to follow the normal. She wanted to ride and train with good trainers and eventually have her own training program. She moved from Ohio to Oklahoma to work for a barrel horse trainer. Shortly after, Matheus and McKenna got married. They got pregnant with their daughter, Maisy, and she was born in October of 2021. Since Matheus and McKenna had ventured out on their own together, they have learned so much. McKenna couldn't imagine doing this with anyone else other than Matheus, Maisy and their wonderful customers.
